The spatial separation of loading and order picking offers at least two decisive advantages. Firstly, it can significantly increase safety in warehouse operations. The most common cause of accidents in warehouses is collisions between industrial trucks - such as forklifts or pallet trucks - and people. This risk can be significantly reduced by separating order picking personnel and forklift traffic.
Secondly, this separation makes it easier to implement the FIFO principle (First In - First Out) in warehouse logistics. This means that the oldest goods are always picked first - a particularly important aspect for perishable goods. Floor pull-outs, which are loaded from the rear, effectively support this principle and enable smooth warehouse turnover.

3 PULL-OUT UNITS IN A 2.7 M BAY
Our KROG floor mounted pull-out units for wire mesh boxes enable efficient and ergonomic storage of goods in pallet cages or comparable load carriers at floor level in pallet racking. The floor mounted pull-out unit allows stored load carriers to be simply pulled out of the rack so that goods placed further back can also be removed quickly and safely - without the use of pallet trucks, forklifts or cranes.
Thanks to its compact design, three base pull-out units for mesh boxes fit between the uprights of a pallet rack with a 2.7 m width.
MAXIMUM SPACE UTILIZATION THANKS TO 85 % EXTENSION DEPTH
The floor mounted pull-out units have a pull-out depth of approx. 85 % and can therefore be pulled out almost completely from the rack. This enables easy access to the entire storage area and optimum use of the available shelf space.
For maximum safety, the pull-out unit has a stop edge on all four sides to prevent pallet cages or similar load carriers from slipping. The laterally slanted stop edges make it easier to position the load carriers precisely when loading and unloading with pallet trucks, forklifts or cranes. The rear end stop edge ensures that load carriers are not pushed too far into the rack.
The floor mounted pull-out unit runs on two floor rails that are mounted directly on the warehouse floor. These ensure a stable and safe straight run. The complete fixing set is included in the scope of delivery.

The floor mounted pull-out unit for wire mesh boxes consists of a robust powder-coated and galvanized steel construction that guarantees a load capacity of up to 800 or 1,000 kg*.
Maintenance-free, smooth-running ball bearings ensure effortless extension and a long service life without maintenance costs.
Corners have been reinforced with steel plates especially for the loads of pallet cages.
